Data Collected by the Extension

The GoStudio Chrome Extension collects the following data:

• GoStudio.AI account credentials (email and API key) — entered manually by the user in the extension settings
• Product image URLs from pages the user actively browses — captured only when the user clicks the Recreate button
• GoStudio.AI profile ID — used to associate generated results with the user's account

How Extension Data Is Used

• The API key is used solely to authenticate requests to the GoStudio.AI API on your behalf
• Image URLs are sent to the GoStudio.AI API to generate virtual try-on results
• Your data is never used for advertising, behavioural profiling, or sold to any third party

Local Storage

• The API key is stored locally on your device using the browser's built-in extension storage (chrome.storage.local)
• No extension data is stored on external servers beyond what is required by the GoStudio.AI API to process your request
• Generated images are saved to your GoStudio.AI account gallery

Data Sharing

• Extension data is shared exclusively with GoStudio.AI's own API (first-party)
• No data is shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or any other third party

Host Permissions

• The extension requests access to all URLs solely to read product image URLs when you click Recreate on a supported shopping page
• The extension does not read page content, cookies, passwords, or any other page data
• No background data collection occurs — the extension only activates on an explicit user action

Retention & Deletion

• The locally stored API key can be cleared at any time by removing the extension or clearing its storage in your browser settings
• Generated images stored in your GoStudio.AI account gallery can be deleted from within your account at any time

We share your Personal Information with third parties only when necessary:

• Payment processing partners to handle transactions
• Analytics providers to improve our services
• Cloud storage providers to securely store and process images
• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Response to legal requests (subpoenas, court orders, etc.)

Our primary operations are based in Bengaluru, India. However, we may transfer data internationally to provide our services. When we do so, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.

We collect anonymous performance data to assess platform and content delivery network performance, including:

This data is completely anonymous and contains no personal information.

We do not alter our site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
